Suzanne Ciani & Metropole Orkest
Metropole Orkest returns to the Melkweg for the official opening concert of the Amsterdam Dance Event 2022. This year’s collaborator is the electronic music pioneer and ‘Diva of the Diode’ Suzanne Ciani. Ciani will lead the Metropole Orkest into her mesmerizing quadraphonic world of electronic music.
TEAM WORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK The arrangement with which Suzanne Ciani and the MO will open the ADE on October 19 is the work of: Simon Dobson (United Kingdom), Tom Trapp (USA), Elena Abad (Spain), Damiano Pascarelli (Italy), Jochen Neuffer (Germany) and Magda Giannikou (Greece). Simon Dobson, who previously worked as an arranger for the MO, makes his debut as a conductor for the orchestra during the performance of the piece.
